Wallace Performing Arts Center
Cosler Theatre Design worked on the architectural lighting for the Wallace Performing Arts Center at Greenwich Academy.

The Luchsing Gallery functions as the theatre lobby, a major path that connects two sections of the campus and as an art gallery. The lighting combines daylight, fluorescent wall wash and incandescent accent lighting for the paintings. Located on a track behind the arched ceiling element, the track heads can be moved to light various types of art and hanging combinations.

The Massey Thetare is used for performances and also for academic testing at the school. CCTD highlighted the lattice pergola that surrounds the theatre and suggested the ceiling be painted a dark blue rather than black. The underbalcony area features continuous strip lighting to articulate and reinforce the perimeter. The underbalcony downlights are trimmed with a glowing ring of light for ceiling brightness.
