Community Center Auditorium
The Community Center Auditorium/College of the Albemarle was designed to provide a facility for College, local and regional performances of drama, musicals, and music performances.

The procenium theatre has 1000 seats on a single level. They are arranged in acontinental seating plan to provide excellent vertical and horizontal sight lines.

To meet the varying needs for a procenium opening, a flying portal was designed that can iris the opening down for dramas or musical theatre. This portal matches the surrounding procenium.

The stage house is rigged with a single purchase counterweight rigging system. There are also additional hemp lines for spot rigging. The stage lighting system containes 240 circuits. An inventory of stage lighting fixtures, hardware, and cable provides designers with the tools necessary to create exciting lighting designs.
